Radical Options for Scotland and Europe
ROSE was formed to bring together those in the trade union and Labour movement who want to campaign for a post-Brexit settlement that protects and enhances workers’ rights both at work and politically in terms of the freedom of Scottish governments to advance democratic control and public ownership.
Our History
Radical Options for Scotland Europe (ROSE) was established in the summer of 2016 as a Labour Movement campaign to defend and advance the rights of working people in Scotland in the negotiations following the EU referendum.
ROSE seeks to bring together both those in the Labour Movement who voted to Remain and those who supported Leave to defend the rights we have and to maximise the opportunities that exist to advance workers’ rights outside the EU.
Our Core Principles
ROSE is built around two core principles which are:
• the enhancement of workers’ rights in Scotland
• internationalism and solidarity with all those across Europe struggling against austerity and privatisation.
